About Gearbot
Gearbot is a site that might help you find a better deal if you want to buy computer parts in New Zealand. In a nutshell here's what we do:
- Scrape the websites of online computer parts stores daily and display their pricing data.
- List it on our site so you can view the cheapest prices, and link directly to the product pages on the retailers website.

Prices are checked daily. It's automatic and there are always a few errors and omissions. If you find something wrong, please tell me.
Who are we?
I am a freelance developer, and have built this site in my spare time, and will continue to do so.
To keep this site completely impartial to users and retailers, so we can provide the cheapest prices, we promise that:
- Only list IT related gear from online / IT related stores.
- Not charge retailers to be listed, or linked to.
All development time is done in my spare time. Pages you are viewing are cached every 4 hours as there is a lot of processing to produce the lists.
If we ever monetise the site we will do so on the basis that we shall remain completely impartial. If you do need any web development done, Drop me a line!.
